Quake II is a first-person shooter video game released on December 9, 1997. Developed by id Software and published by Activision. The music for the game is composed by Sonic Mayhem. The game is divided into 36 levels required to complete the game and 3 secret. At each level, various bonuses are scattered - weapons, first-aid kits and ammunition. As you progress, the main character gets more and more powerful weapons and armor; in turn, his Strogg opponents become stronger and more numerous, new types of opponents appear with special abilities - for example, doctors who resurrect the dead. Almost all levels have secret places where useful items are hidden. In addition to the usual bonuses, the game has a limited number of items that give the player an advantage, for example, transferred from the first part of "Quad Damage", which increases the damage dealt by 4 times for half a minute.
The multiplayer is the same as in the first Quake. There is a free-for-all deathmatch mode, a cooperative version of a single player, or a duel that is available in eSports, for example, in the Cyberathlete Professional League. There is also a Capture the Flag (CTF) mode.
You can play in multiplayer and over the Internet. Yes, I have an active Quake II server, to connect to which use the following details:

Quake III Arena is a first-person shooter video game developed by id Software and published by Activision in 1999. Unlike previous games in the series, Quake III Arena is multiplayer oriented and does not feature a full single player campaign.
Several centuries ago, the mysterious Vadrigar race built the Eternal Arena, a place for gladiator fights that were Vadrigar's entertainment. Nothing is known about these creatures, except that they enjoy watching carnage in the heat of battle. They send the best gladiators of all time to the Arena. In order to win, the gladiator needs not only to survive, but also to defeat his rivals. The Vadrigar warrior cannot be defeated even by death - the fallen warrior is immediately reborn and returns to battle, perhaps even more experienced. When the dust and blood settle, the warriors will continue their fight, entertaining Vadrigar. But only the strongest of the gladiators will be able to go further until he meets Ziro, the champion of the Eternal Arena, in the final.
There are next game modes in multiplayer:
♦ Free For All: every man for himself mode;
♦ Classic deathmatch: the player who stands up to the opponents and collects the required number of frags will win;
♦ Team Deathmatch: team deathmatch: the team that scores the required number of frags before the opponent wins;
♦ Tournament: one-on-one tournament. Players fight in pairs in turns on the principle of "winning with the next";
♦ Capture The Flag (CTF): capture the Flag. The goal is to capture the enemy flag and bring it to your "base". The team that scores the maximum number of captures before the opponent wins.
