June 27, 2022 2 new Quake servers launched

The new server now has a "white IP", thanks to which the possibility of a stable connection to Quake II and Quake III Arena has been launched. Moreover, Quake III server works in the "CTF: Capture the Flag" confrontation mode, and Quake II in Deathmatch mode. The following settings are used to connect: Quake II (45.67.33.18:27910), Quake III (45.67.33.18:27960).

Connect and play well!

If you want to organize your own Quake server, then you need to get a static IP address from your ISP, and open TCP and UDP ports on your server for Quake 2 - "27910", and for Quake III - from "27960" to "27969".

After that, to start the servers in console mode, you must run the following commands (without quotes):

Quake 2:

"quake2.exe +set dedicated 1 +set game ctf +exec server.cfg"

Quake III:

"start /high quake3 +set dedicated 2 +set sv_pure 0 +sv_master1 master.quake3arena.com +map q3dm17"

Of course, you need to execute these commands in the console while in the directory with the executable file.
For convenience, you can create CMD files containing these commands and create shortcuts for launching them, for example, from the desktop. If you are too lazy to do this, you can download ready-made batch files from the link below.
