The Secret of Monkey Island is the game that essentially ushered in the golden era of LucasArts quests. Of course, the story about the secret of Monkey Island is not the first game of the famous studio. There were already Maniac Mansion, and Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders, but it was Monkey Island that set the level of quality, great style and excellent humor that is still considered the calling card of LucasArts. And of course everyone remembers the music of the composer Michael Land, which has become the standard of MIDI sound. Patch version for simultaneous Roland music and Adlib effects, as well as running on fast machines.

Prince of Persia is a classic fantasy platform game developed by Jordan Mechner and released in 1989 for the Apple II PC, and is arguably the first to give the public high quality animation of the protagonist's movements. Since its original release for the Apple II, Prince of Persia has been ported to multiple platforms, including MS-DOS®.

You take on the role of a promising Confederate fighter who just graduated from the flight academy with excellent marks and was assigned to the Tiger Claw ship. This is one of the most powerful
Bengal-class aircraft carriers in service with the Confederate Air Force. Upon your arrival, the command of the ship was instructed to advance to the Vega sector in order to lead the attack on the enemy.
Great game and love for life...

Compared to the first part, the graphics have undergone drastic changes, however, as well as the gameplay. Now you do not need to collect prize cups to open the door to the next level. You don’t have to
look for weapons at each level again, Dave always has them with him, and they can be fired not only in a straight line, but also upwards, aiming at opponents located, for example, on the ceiling or on the
floor above. But now there was a need to reload the shotgun with eight shots. The ammo is endless, but the need to reload can be fatal when fighting bosses if you don't plan your tactics ahead of time.
Dave's death scenes are made in the form of short animated clips, show all the variety of black humor of the developers, and vary from monster to monster. Only their bloodiness remains unchanged.

This is a small toy from 1994. The game has six levels, and the size of the main .EXE file is only 64K! The program is written in Turbo Pascal and requires a 386DX computer. Works great in fast cars too. Management in the menu arrows and the Enter key. You can also use a joystick, to calibrate which run the following command:
mario -j
The author of this game distributes it for free, but asks not to make changes to it, not to add your own documentation, registration forms, messages, etc.

The player controls a plane that flies over a river between its banks. Along the way, there are ships, helicopters, airships and other objects that the player can destroy by shooting vertically upwards. While moving upwards, the plane can move left and right at the player's command. The location of land and water in the game was not predetermined - this would require too much memory; instead, a shift register algorithm with linear feedback with a fixed initial value was used.
Retro Gamer in 2008 put the game in 3rd place in its rating of the best games for the Atari 2600.

NOVERT.COM - TSR utility
This utility was written by Istvan Pataki (deity@sch.bme.hu).
novert.com is a terminate-and-stay-resident program, for the purpose to turn off vertical movement of the mouse in DOS-based
games (DOOM especially).
Usage: type "novert" in DOS or a DOS window for turning it on, and type "novert /u" to turn it off.
