Letter Assigner 1.2.0

Anyone who has connected an additional hard drive to their PC running Windows 98 or MS-DOS has encountered the problem of changing logical drive letters. As a rule, the operating system does not assign them sequentially (for example, first to the 1st disk, and only then to the 2nd), but does this by alternating logical disks, which causes a lot of problems. Letter Assigner allows you to assign a letter to a specific logical drive yourself in both Microsoft Windows® 95, Windows® 98 and Windows® ME. It also includes a command line utility for assigning a logical drive letter in an MS-DOS® environment (v4.0 and later). download >>

QEMM 9.x from 1997

Quarterdeck QEMM is a DOS Extended Memory Manager for 386+ computer which allows you to make use of memory beyond the 640kb barrier. It can also be used with QRAM, a utility for freeing up the 640k base memory. QEMM competed against Qualitas BlueMax/386MAX, Memory Commander, and HeadRoom/NetRoom from Helix Software Company.
This product is intended for use on 386 computers. For 286 machines, search QRAM. download >>

RDP Client for legacy Microsoft operating systems.

The Remote Desktop Protocol is one of the most widely used protocols for remote control because it is used to work with Windows operating systems, which are often indispensable in a corporate environment. Naturally, this is the most common way to connect to a remote system. The Microsoft client I suggested works fine on older Windows 98/ME operating systems, and I don't think Windows 95 has any problems either. download >>

Windows Installer for Win9x & NT

The Microsoft Windows Installer is an installation and configuration service that ships as part of the Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system, and is provided as a redistributable product for Microsoft Windows 95, 98, ME, and NT version 4.0. Windows Installer enables software users to efficiently install and configure products and applications. The installer can also provide software products with new capabilities to advertise features without installing them, to install products on demand, and to add user customizations. download >>
