Buslogic Ide Cache Controller

Buslogic Ide Cache Controller

Buslogic Ide Cache Controller is a hard disk and floppy disk controller on the ISA bus that allows you to additionally install a 30-pin memory for use as a cache. Significantly improves the speed of your hard drive. Basically it is advisable to use on 386 and 486 computers. Among other things, the controllers in this series have their own BIOS, which allows you to bypass the 512 MB limit and use media up to 4 GB. In total, the controller has 2 IDE connectors, which as a result allows you to connect up to 4 hard drives and 2 floppy disk drives.
It should be noted that in the native BIOS of your PC you need to install the "1st type" hard disk (10 MB) for those connected to the controller for adequate operation, then BusLogic will determine the real capacity of your disk and connect it. There is support for a mirrored RAID array. More details in the manual attached to the download.
The 95 drivers (BTIDE.PDR) supports BusLogic IDE Caching Controller series, which use firmware/BIOS v2.0x. They are: BT-410, BT-510, and BT-910. You can download them from the link below. download >>
